DYLOG ITALIA
Transformation of a former bank and its vault in central Milan into a flexible mixed-use headquarters

The project interprets the redevelopment of a former bank building located in Piazzale Cadorna in Milan, integrating commercial spaces, workspaces, and office functions within a single architectural organism. The concept is based on rethinking the vertical circulation and on the adaptive reuse of the basement level, which houses the former vault, transforming it into an active and inhabitable space. Through the introduction of a glazed roof and a spatial device designed to maximize the available surface without obstructing the entry of zenithal light, the former vault is converted into a workspace and representational area for the company. The new headquarters of Dylog Italia is conceived as a flexible system, capable of adapting to different operational configurations and accommodating coworking spaces, encouraging cross-fertilization among the various corporate sectors. On the upper levels, the recovery of the attic generates hybrid spaces intended for executive offices and guest accommodation. The intervention culminates at roof level, where the reuse of the existing signage structures allows for the creation of a panoramic terrace overlooking the urban context of Piazzale Luigi Cadorna
